About Post-Tensioning
Each reactor building is made of a single-shell post-tensioned concrete containment with 2 geometry types of tendons:
- 270° loop horizontal tendons
- Inverted-U shaped vertical tendons
The post-tensioning system is un-bonded: bare strands injected with grease.
